A portrait of my delightful youngest daughter. I am trying to express something of her soul-rather old-fashioned of me -as well as her lovely appearance, her innocence, charm and intelligence.
Much influenced by Georges Rouault, one of my favourite modern artists.
Giacommetti might be another influence as well as my English fellow-countrywoman (Welsh actually)Gwen John.
