I love the dynamic movement of the original press photograph and I think I have emphasised that without too much exagerration whilst mainting a classical poise and strength with my own version of cubism and use of colour-my'carving with light'.
My techniique, now using Panpastels and various applicators along with marble dust and gouache on a Pumice impregnated cardboard lends a depth in comparison to oil-painting now. Am very excited by this!
